#Joint capsule
- joint capsule은 전방의 슬개건과 슬개골을 중심으로 내측, 외측, 후방으로 뻗어있는 섬유조직을 이야기한다.
- 위 그림에서 보듯 meniscus는 joint capsule에 단단히 연결되어있다. 특히 medial meniscus가 lateral meniscus보다 단단하게 부착되어있다. 그 이유는 popliteus tendon이 지나가는 popliteus hiatus 때문이다. 외측으로는 구멍이 하나 나있기 때문에 부착력도 조금 더 약하다.

- Gracilis와 semitendinosus는 layer1과 layer2 사이에 존재하기 때문에, layer1과 layer2를 구분하는 기준점이 된다.

- 슬관절에 계속적인 varus stress를 주면 다음 순서대로 파열된다.

- 슬관절 굴곡상태에서는 ITB, LCL, popliteus tendon이 서로를 교차하여 lateral stability를 극대화한다.
* 십자인대 : ACL & PCL
- 경골의 전후방 운동을 제한하는 역할을 한다.
- 결골의 med. & lat. rotation의 조절을 보조한다.
- External rot.시 cruciate ligament들은 서로 풀린다.
- Internal rot.시 cruciate ligament들은 서로 잠긴다.
- 고유감각 수용체가 있어 균형감각에 기여한다.

PCL의 고유수용감각 여부에 대해서는 아직 뚜렷한 바는 없지만 파열, 혹은 슬관절 전치환술 이후에는 고유수용감각에 대한 재활을 하는 것이 좋을 것으로 생각한다.
